Depending on the day, I'm a slasher, gigger, solopreneur, and/or a freelancer. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I spend the majority of my time as an online marketing strategist and social media producer for small businesses and nonprofits. I'm keeping my eyes out for trends and hot topics while focusing on small interactions that can make a big difference with loyal customers and clients. I'm the person live-tweeting at conventions and trade shows, or looking over the chef's shoulder to get a candid photo to share on Facebook.

I'm a writer, preparing thoughtful blog posts for others and for my own vintage clothing resale business, Quarter Life. My M.A. thesis about the then-and-now of domestic apparel manufacturing in the United States is in-progress.

I'm an editor for a team of writers that takes detailed minutes at homeowners association meetings in the District, Virginia, and Maryland. (Ask me about your bylaws—I've seen 'em all.)

I'm a business owner, the sole vintage buyer for Quarter Life. I plan sales events, manage an online presence and virtual storefront, prepare inventory, schedule online marketing and press outreach, and work with customers who might have detailed requests.

I'm grateful that I get to be creative with words every day. When I'm not at the computer, I'm elbow-deep in a pile of vintage clothing. I like to think it's a nice mix.
